Who we are
The Freie evangelische Gemeinde Mannheim (Free Protestant Congregation Mannheim) is a motley group of people of all ages. We want to practice our faith together and share our lives. We cordially invite you to participate in our fellowship and to explore the Christian faith with us.

Every Sunday we celebrate a lively service. Children’s Service, hosted in two age groups, is even livelier. During the week we have a number of activities for children und young people. Connect groups help us to strengthen our community and live our faith in daily life. We cherish a culture of participation, encouraging everyone to participate according to their abilities.
The FeG Mannheim was founded in 1991; it now has over 100 church members and up to 160 service attendees. As an independent church, it belongs to the Convention of Free Protestant Congregations (Bund Freier Evangelischer Gemeinden, K.d.ö.R.), along with around 500 other congregations scattered throughout Germany. We cooperate with other churches in Mannheim and participate in the networking group “Gemeinsam für Mannheim“ (Together for Mannheim) als well as in the “Arbeitsgemeinschaft christlicher Kirchen (ACK)” (Fellowship of Christian Churches).
